From competitors to cohorts – five peers form self-driving coalition

Three of the leading players within the autonomous driving space have joined forces with top ride-share and ride-hailing service providers to form the Self-Driving Coalition for Safer Streets.

Ford, Google, Lyft (which was recently purchased by GM), Uber and Volvo Cars will work with regulators to bring autonomous cars to the road faster.
