Google and FCA step out in public

FCA is to provide Google with roughly 100 hybrid Pacifica MPVs for its engineers to fit with self-driving technology. Engineers from FCA will work with Google engineers to help integrate the technology, which includes sensors and software, into the minivan. The extra 100 vehicles almost doubles Google’s fleet of self-driving test vehicles, which currently stands at around 70.
