Next-gen LiDAR solution provides ‘incredible detail and precision’

Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Oryx Vision is currently developing solid-state LiDAR technology specifically for autonomous vehicles. It works by illuminating the area with a flash of light, almost like a standard camera that uses a flash, before an array of microscopic antennas detects and receives the returning light wave frequencies.
