Opening up to cyber threats is the key to secure connectivity

A new forum allows automotive companies to share cyber threats and discuss how to defend against them

Connected cars are vulnerable to security flaws just like any other system, according to crowd sourced threat intelligence company AlienVault. This is why the company is launching an updated version of its Open Threat Exchange (OTX).

AlienVault describes OTX as a social network for the infosecurity community, and a free forum for security professionals of all sectors to discuss and share the latest cyber threats, and how to defend against them.
