Safety must be priority for mapping and autonomy

The development of connected, autonomous, shared and electric (CASE) vehicles has given way to debate regarding how technologies can best be integrated safely into vehicles. Mapping in particular, which requires precise localisation and perception, has seen much development as part of advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) for autonomous driving.
