Volkswagen and Suzuki's four-year divorce proceedings have taken a giant step forward with a ruling from the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce. The decision, which relates to shares of Suzuki held by Volkswagen, resolves a major aspect of the dispute and should go a long way in allowing both companies to move ahead with a clearer view of their future strategy and resume the hunt for new partners.
