More than 100 and possibly hundreds of GM dealers could be reinstated during dealer arbitration hearings, according to GM chairman and chief executive Ed Whitacre. Whitacre’s comments, reported by the Detroit News, follow a Congressional order to allow those dealers slated for closure to request independent reviews challenging their closings.
