Czech Republic: Tatra sales fall 45%

Leading Czech truck maker Tatra saw its 2009 sales fall 45% year-on-year to CKr3.3bn (US$173m). The company has cut almost 1,400 of its 3,661 workers and as of January 2010 employs 2,280 people.
