Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is reported to have afforded its flagship Western Star brand its own engineering division encompassing nearly 50 dedicated engineers and engineering systems separate from other truck brands. The new engineering division will be based near Western Star's truck plant in Portland, Oregon.
