Registrations of new commercial vehicles in the EU rose by 7.7% year-on-year in May to 143,990 units, compared with 133,744 vehicles registered in May 2009.
This rise was due to the van segment, comprising LCVs up to 3.5 tonnes. Registrations in this segment rose by 9.4%, from 111,380 to 121,901 units,
