The US Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) has reported that the Freight Transportation Services Index (TSI) fell 0.6% in August to 97.6 from its July level (98.2), falling after two previously monthly increases of 0.4% in July and 0.2% in June.
