Japan: Mitsubishi’s domestic output rises 8.1% in June

Mitsubishi Motors has reported that its domestic vehicle production rose 8.1% year-on-year in June to 59,069 units (June 2010: 54,667). The June improvement was driven by a 9.9% gain in passenger car output – to 53,283 from 47,547 - with a contrasting fall in commercial vehicle production to 5,786 (7,120).
