Ford is recalling certain 2013MY Escape models due to a risk that misaligned carpet could interfere with braking. A total of 8,266 vehicles in the US are affected, with a smaller number in Canada and Mexico.
According to a letter from the OEM to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA),
