Ricardo Inc, the US subsidiary of the consulting engineers Ricardo plc, has announced that Thomas Apostolos has been appointed its President. Outgoing president Kent Niederhofer will remain with Ricardo Inc until the end of October to assist in the transition.
Apostolos has spent the last 19 years of his career at Magna International. Before becoming president of Magna Exteriors & Interiors Asia Pacific in 2007, he was global president of Magna’s Interiors’ Intier Automotive Interiors company. Before joining Magna, Apostolos had engineering and management jobs at General Motors. He currently is on the board of directors of two Tier One automotive suppliers.
Apostolos will report directly to Ricardo plc’s Chief Executive Officer Dave Shemmans.
