Volkswagen finds itself in hot water over emissions claims in the US, as regulators confront it with charges of cheating during tests. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued the OEM with a notice of violation of the Clean Air Act, while the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has issued it with an in-use compliance letter.
