ACEA registration data for June has been published and it is extremely positive. Total medium and heavy duty registrations for the EU 28 and EFTA markets rose 30.5% year-on-year to 30,871 units from 23,656 units recorded in June 2014, with an overall registration rate of 110.1% of the long-term ten-year average. Overall, the registration rate for heavy duty trucks was above 100% at 117.8%, implying long-term growth, while light duty at 119.2% was similarly positive. Although the medium duty segment continues to lag the average, its registration rate of 89.4% improved markedly both sequentially and year-on-year. All told, June was an extremely positive month across all three segments.
