AI diagnostics can resolve EV repairs 40% faster

AI-driven diagnostics and prognostics solutions are showing promise in managing the complexity and expense of vehicles in the electric era. By Will Girling

CASE (connected, autonomous, shared, electric) trends in automotive are resulting in vehicles that are increasingly technologically complex. In fact, McKinsey & Co estimates that software complexity rose by a factor of four between 2011 and 2021. Unsurprisingly, the analyst found the change most apparent in large modules (infotainment, advanced driver-assistance systems, etc.) and recommended that OEMs strive for greater efficiency wherever possible.
