Auto industry take note: no UK-EU trade talks before Brexit

First you exit, and then you negotiate new terms. So said the European Commissioner for Trade, Cecilia Malmstrom, to the BBC’s Newsnight. Malmstrom’s words shone a very bright light onto the lengthy path ahead from EU member to non-EU trading partner for British industry and for foreign-owned companies with UK manufacturing operations.
