One-third of automotive companies are currently underestimating the extent of the challenge they face in the connected car landscape

The connected car is transforming the automotive industry, attracting new players and disrupting long-established business models.

In fact, one-third of automotive companies are currently underestimating the extent of the challenge they are facing in the connected car landscape, says worldwide consulting firm Spencer Stuart. In its recent report, entitled “Connectivity leadership: How the auto industry can secure the right blend of talent to succeed in the era of the connected car,” the company addressed the recurring question of whether the automotive industry is ready for connected car challenges, and the steps it needs to take to improve its stance in the market going forward.
