AW rev counter: favourable pricing environment ends

Sales by the major carmakers rose by an average of just 1.2% in Q1 2024 from a year earlier, with changes ranging from minus 10.9% for Stellantis to plus 12.7% for MMC. There was an even split between those reporting higher sales and those reporting lower. It was the fourth successive quarter of weaker sales growth year-on-year.
