Big name backing for Israeli cyber security start-up

The connected car brings a number of convenience and safety benefits for drivers, but it also opens up the vehicle to cyber attacks. With some of today's vehicles including millions of lines of software code, there are numerous attack vectors for hackers. A growing number of companies are springing up to help protect against the risk of both known and unknown threats.

Israeli company Upstream arrived on the market in 2017, offering a 'multi-layer' approach to protecting connected cars and their underlying network infrastructure. Although it has only been on the market for a short time, it has already attracted interest from a number of today's leading automakers. What makes this company so interesting at this time?
