Brazil’s dire truck year draws to a gloomy close

ANFAVEA has released data for October commercial vehicle registrations, production and export for Brazil. As we move into the fourth quarter of 2015, registrations continue the miserable trend that has established itself throughout the year.

Compared with October 2014, total registrations for all of the five reported segments are negative. Semi light registrations fell back year-on-year by 15%, while light registrations declined by 49%. Medium duty registrations slumped by 48.6% while semi heavy (down 57%) and heavy (down 54.6%) complete a very gloomy picture.
