Continental has developed an automated parking system that relies solely on camera-based sensors. The supplier aims to take away the hassle of looking for a parking space or making occasionally tricky parking manoeuvres. Since the autonomous car will be expected to drive itself in all situations – on highways, country roads and in cities – it stands to reason that it should be able to park itself too.
