Can aftermarket kits bring autonomous driving to the masses?

While the future of autonomous highway driving has mainly been illustrated by purpose-built robotaxis, such technology may be available off the shelf as early as 2020. That’s according to San Francisco-based start-up Ghost Locomotion, which is developing an aftermarket kit that takes just a few hours to install.
