Making blind spots visible

For this reason, many automotive companies have been trying to figure out how to support the driver in the monitoring of their blind spot through driver assistance technologies. The most recent is supplier Bosch, which has been working on Lane Change Assist (LCA) to actively help the driver change lanes safely. LCA is based on the mid-range radar sensor for rear-end application (MRR rear) created by Bosch. Two of the sensors are installed in the rear bumper of the car – one on the left, one on the right.
