CASE ushers in new era of automaker purchasing

The concept of ‘future mobility’ from a few years back is gradually becoming a reality, with the CASE (connected, autonomous, shared and electric) megatrends now core tenets of automakers’ purchasing strategies. Components, systems and services that may once have been considered ‘niche’ are no longer simply R&D projects, and are instead shaking up the way vehicle manufacturers procure from their established supply base—and beyond.
