Chrysler 300 – right price and performance, wrong segment?

Chrysler is counting on the updated 300 to make a big splash on the market, but its impact may be limited as interest in large sedans wanes

Chrysler is showing off its updated 300 sedan at the LA Auto Show this week, putting the spotlight on a jazzed up model that not only offers more safety and security features than ever before combined with impressive performance stats, but all at the same starting price as the outgoing model. There is a hitch, however - the 300 is a full-size sedan, a segment that has been eaten away recently by growing interest in crossovers.
