The cloud: shaping the future of the connected car

The opportunity for wireless connectivity in cars is limitless, and is only now starting to be investigated. This is the view of Dean Miles, Senior Vice President, Symphony Teleca, who recently spoke in the second of a series of four Automotive Megatrends webinars, entitled, “The Internet of Cars Part 2 – The Cloud.”

The webinars are sponsored by the GENIVI alliance, a non-profit industry alliance committed to driving the broad adoption of an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) open-source development platform, in which leading experts discuss the technologies and trends that are making the Internet of Cars a reality.
