Semi-autonomous cars will soon share the roads with other autonomous cars and self-driving trucks - and with cars driven by humans. All will need to acknowledge each other, recognise each other, and communicate with each other, using radar, lidar, camera, Wi-Fi and other V2V technology. It’s hard to make eye-contact with a self-driving car.
