There are many questions to be answered before we can even begin to consider bringing autonomous cars to our roads, writes David Emm

A growing number of governments around the world have shown interest in autonomous vehicle (AV) testing, with Japan, China and France, for example, recently being joined by the UK, where the Department for Transport recently boldly claimed it wants to see fully autonomous cars tested on UK roads by 2021.
