Travel sickness is an age-old problem that inconveniences passengers to varying degrees across any form of transport. However, based on the marketing behind autonomous vehicles (AVs) thus far, the issue seems to sit fairly low on the list of priorities. For all the effort being directed toward the development of shared robo-taxis, if these vehicles lead to motion sickness that make riders feel unwell, it's a safe bet that they will find an alternative form of transport that does not.
