Dacia lifts “making the most of it” to an art form

Dacia Sales Director François Mariotte speaks to Megan Lampinen about how the power of brand positioning can compensate for a lack of new models and new markets

Dacia isn't targeting any new markets this year, or planning to launch any new products, but that doesn't dampen its optimism. The brand, which prides itself on an affordable and practical line-up of vehicles, is hopeful of another strong sales year and confident of its continued place in the world's global markets.

"We are still working with the existing model range," Dacia Sales Director François Mariotte told Automotive World. "We are really looking at the sales potential of our models."
