Diversity vital at Renault’s Sandouville plant

The Alliance is keeping a sharp focus on light commercial vehicle manufacturing, as it prepares for the NV300 production start. By Xavier Boucherat

Renault’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) division boasted a strong manufacturing and sales performance in 2015. At the end of year, the OEM announced its Batilly plant in north-eastern France had achieved record annual production levels, with more than 126,000 vans rolling off the assembly line, including 85,208 Masters. The OEM was Europe’s best selling LCV brand for the 18th consecutive year. The LCV division accounted for 18% of Groupe Renault’s global turnover in 2015.
