The aftermath of Dieselgate has forced automakers and suppliers to accelerate the development of cleaner tech as emissions regulations tighten and deadlines approach. However, with the industry having spent much of the previous decades encouraging diesel adoption, the move away from the fuel has been difficult for the European market.
