Can fuel cell technology capture the truck market? 

Battery-electric may have enjoyed a head start, but the future for fuel cells in zero-emission commercial vehicles still holds promise. By Stewart Burnett 

In recent years, fleet operators have faced growing regulatory pressure to lower their carbon emissions. For instance, the 2021 European Climate Law requires that all EU member states must lower emissions at least 55% by 2030. While transportation is responsible for 25% of all emissions, heavy-duty vehicles contribute 27% of this total despite accounting for less than 10% of road traffic.
