Hydrogen fuel cells are ‘taking off’ in heavier transport

Mobility’s future landscape will be a mixed picture as the global automotive industry cuts emissions. Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) are likely to remain the mainstay option for lighter vehicles, whereas fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) may be a better fit for heavier transport. Experts at a Future Mobility Europe online debate, hosted by Automotive World, agree that is the most likely scenario.
