EU member-states must tackle individual problems for AV deployment

The Netherlands sets the bar for infrastructure readiness, but AVs will make unique requirements of each market. By Xavier Boucherat

Since 2018, KPMG’s annual Autonomous Vehicle Readiness Index has ranked nations by how prepared they are for a self-driving future. Each score is a composite of 28 individual measures which explore everything the autonomous vehicle (AV) legislation a country has in place to its technology and innovation ecosystem and the availability of AV infrastructure.
