When thinking of Hyundai and alternative powertrain architectures, the fuel cell vehicle (FCV) immediately springs to mind. The Korean OEM was the first to launch a mass produced FCV in the form of the ix35, the rollout of which started in 2013.
The company says that the FCV segment will remain key to its plans in Europe, but also describes an electrification offensive that will commence in 2016.
