EV sales innovation key to US’ tough economic conditions

A US finance company is harnessing tax credits to deliver EV sales despite economic turbulence, with expectations of an easier 2024. By Lee Monks

In 2022, 918,500 electric vehicles (EVs) were sold in the US (5.7% of the passenger vehicle market), according to Statista. Atlas Public Policy figures forecast that 1.3-1.4 million (9% of the passenger vehicle market) will be sold in 2023. EV sales are clearly rising, yet serious economic challenges continue to depress full market potential.
