A new opportunity has opened up for suppliers specialising in vehicle drivetrains with the advent of electric vehicles (EVs). Power needs to get from the electric motor to the wheels, and vehicle manufacturers cannot simply copy and paste existing transmission technology used for traditional gasoline or diesel-engined vehicles.
