Far from ‘common sense’: NHTSA stirs controversy with distraction guidelines

Distracted driving continues to cause road accidents, and mobile phones are among the biggest culprits. 'Honk if you love Jesus, text whilst driving if you want to meet him!' states one popular bumper sticker. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is not laughing, though.
