Focus on convergence to accelerate autonomous vehicle adoption, says chipmaker

Intel’s automotive operation has one word on its mind right now – convergence. The chipmaker is keen to accelerate the development of autonomous vehicles, from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) third level of autonomy, limited-self driving automation, to its fourth - full self-driving automation. The company has a clear idea on how to achieve this.
