Fuel consumption remains ‘overriding priority’ for heavy-duty vehicles

The heavy-duty vehicle (HDV) sector is faced with several major challenges like enhancing safety, improving efficiency and reducing emissions, not to mention issues like driver shortages and maximising uptime. However, according to several major suppliers, developing fuel-efficient technology remains the number one priority as fleet operators look to lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
