Over the last two years, generative AI has disrupted a number of industries, including banking, insurance and content creation. It is also seeing application in the automotive industry in areas such as vehicle design and autonomous driving. For example, AI software firm Wayve revealed Gaia-1 in June 2023, a tool capable of generating dynamic and highly realistic driving videos for coaching autonomous and driver assistance systems.
