Many believe that using a hands-free device while driving makes driving safer, but the National Safety Council (NSC) is urging road users to think twice before using hands-free devices while driving. In fact, its latest campaign called ‘Hands-Free is Not Risk Free’ notes that drivers looking out of the windshield can miss up to 50% of what is going on around them by using any kind of cell phone communication – including hands-free.
