Automotive World speaks with Harman’s Phil Eyler to discuss how a recent hack involving its infotainment system has affected the company

Harman has been in the news recently as a result of the recent hacking of a 2014 Jeep Renegade. Although the hacking was a ‘white hat’ experiment (read: planned), there have since been public outcries. “Are our cars safe?” ask owners of the same vehicle, with some even filing a class action lawsuit against FCA and Harman.
