CES 2015 reveals renewed interest in gesture control for automotive applications

At International CES 2015, BMW displayed its close-to-production ready gesture control technology, Volkswagen showed gesture control in its Golf R Touch concept car, and Harman revealed plans to launch natural speech technology later in 2015. At CES, Automotive World spoke to BMW and Harman, as well as Visteon, QNX, Continental and TRW about the potential for voice and gesture control technology.
