How can the petrochemical giants prepare for a fuel cell future?

With fuel cell players looking to both build and fuel hydrogen vehicles in-house, the petrochemical industry should target cooperative expansion. By Jack Hunsley

Gasoline and diesel have held quite the monopoly in the automotive industry over the last century. Some may have dabbled in alternative means of propulsion such as electrification or natural gas, but for the most part, if a vehicle moved it was thanks to fossil fuel. However, the future of mobility is highly unlikely to rely so heavily on carbon.
