In an effort to transform China’s connected car services industry, IBM and TransWiseway, a Beijing provider of vehicle monitoring and management solutions, are collaborating to build the largest cloud-based Internet of Vehicles (IOV) platform in the country. The platform will connect million of trucks, devices and sensors from vehicles to analyse data and offer real-time, in-vehicle services to mobile devices, such as weather advisories, traffic alerts and alternate route suggestions.
