Infrastructure still the missing piece in the hydrogen trucking puzzle

Hydrogen may be an ideal fit for trucking, but only with the appropriate infrastructure development. By Jack Hunsley

Solving the passenger hydrogen fuel cell vehicle conundrum is proving to be a significant challenge. However, when it comes to commercial vehicles, the equation is beginning to add up rather nicely.

Though it may not be suited to all use cases, the unique requirements—particularly regarding power density and quick refuelling times—make hydrogen fuel cell a realistic alternative to today’s diesel commercial vehicle technology.
